FORECAST FOR THE FOODSERVICE INDUSTRY IN THE REPUBLIC OF MORDOVIA FOR THE PERIOD OF 2013-2018

The article presents long-term foodservice industry forecasts based on the future income of the population, increasing the number of public food outlets through entering new network companies upon the catering business of the Republic, and the average catering cop. The author emphasizes the need to improve the quality of services in catering organizations through involving highly qualified staff, and developing catering facilities in the cities of the Republic to the level of European standards. This will have a significant impact on improvement of competition on the Mordovia Republic’s market of catering services that affect the quality of the final product and the balance between the average catering cost and average income of the population. This paper describes the steps to improve the functioning of the system of foodservice industry in the Republic of Mordovia in the context of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
