The first appearance of the architectural morphotype of the ancient centric dwelling at the territory of Caucasus is confirmed by archaeological findings of Eneolith, Early Bronze Age, including the famous Kura-Araxes cultural-historical era, and subsequent periods of ancient times and the Middle Ages, as well as descriptions of ancient authors about the underground dwellings with upper entrance and thespecificity of ledged tent. For many centuries and millennia there was a crystallization of the creative idea and concept for a dome on a square originated in ancient times. The evidences are the architectural creations of centric composition, structures and forms, built of local building materials. They constitute a indissoluble unity, organic whole with the landscape of the Caucasus-Pamir mountain megaregion. Initially, the place of origin and development of the dome on a square concept was in the architecture of the ancient centric dwelling in the Caucasus-Pamir mountain megaregion. This is the clear indication of the level of development of the peoples’ and nations’ creative talent, the determinant of their place in the hierarchy of artistically gifted nations and leading artistically developed countries of the ancient and medieval world. The architectural morphotype of the ancient centric dwelling with pyramidal-ledged ceil- ing and light-flue hole over an open hearthis the determinant of the ethnogenesis ways, the ethnic history and culture of the ancient Iranian-speaking tribes in the Central Caucasus, Western Pamir and HinduKush, as a significant and visible historical source.
