The paper considers the role of a leader in youth organizations and his influence on administrative processes. The analysis of the behavior models of the organization leader and regional specifics of youth leadership in the Republic of Mordovia is conducted. The article also examines the functioning of regional youth associations and organizations, their principles of activity and influence on a political situation in the region.
