FEATURES OF WORK WITH APPLICATIONS OF CITIZENS TO THE RECEPTION OFFICE OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION PRESIDENT IN THE REPUBLIC OF MORDOVIA

This article analyzes the efficiency of the reception office of the Russian Federation President in the Republic of Mordovia for the implementation of the constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens. The paper analyzes the statistical data and gives a detailed analysis of the most frequent applications of citizens admitted to the reception office of the Russian Federation President in the Republic of Mordovia in 2013. In accordance with the classifier, the following problem blocks were identified: “Housing”, “Defense, security, rule of law” and “Social services”. The article also describes the causes of the problems and the measures taken by the reception office to solve them. Appeals are the most important source of information necessary for authorities to make decisions that protect the interests of citizens. With the help of the reception office citizens can influence on the government at all levels and monitor its activities using the right to appeal, which remains one of the most effective mechanisms and priorities of civil society.
