Was maid a synthesis of 2-(9-antracenil)-4,5- diphenilimidazole. With its oxidation in alkaline medium is formed the short-lived radical forming a dimer. On the basis of INFRA- RED spectra and quantum-chemical calculations, it was suggested that the dimerization of radical is meso-status of antracenil′s and was maid the possible structure of the dimer 2-(9-antracenil)-4,5- diphenilimidazole.
