Fatykhov is the Head of the State Budget Research commissioned by the Federal Agency for Fisheries of the Russian Federation: “Development and improvement of food production systems”. He is an Academician, a member of the Presidium of the International Academy of Refrigeration, a member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, an expert of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and a member of the expert groups “Equipment for the food industry” and “Technological machinery and equipment”.
